OBITUARY

Jacqueline Susann Yager

July 27, 1970October 10, 2020

On Saturday, October 10, 2020 Jacqueline S. Yager (nee Clark), loving wife, fierce mother of two, bonus mom of three, passed away at the age of 50.

Jackie was born on July 27, 1970 at McLaren Hospital in Flint to Preston L. Clark and Sharon M. Cook (nee Mangold) She raised two young daughters while attending school, like the Rockstar she is, for various things before settling on I.T. She has always been passionate about her love of family and living her life to the fullest.

In January, 2012, she married Ron Yager, expanding her family with three bonus kids. She loved to travel on vacations to many places, but her favorites were Hawaii, Lake Havasu, and Las Vegas. She enjoyed going the casino and live music events. When Jackie stayed home, she enjoyed family movie nights and sharing her love of music.

Jackie's life was centered around her kids and grandbabies; they were her entire world. Anyone would tell you of her firecracker personality. Her daughters would say she was the most amazing mom and grandma they could have asked for. Jackie will be greatly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her father Preston Clark, bonus dad George Cook, and sister Tracy Clark.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Sharon Cook; mother-in-law Margaret Judd; husband Ron Yager; children: Alyssa (Edward) Jacobson, Amber Howard (Marc Seaton), Cuyler Yager, Ashley (Paul) Perez, Brianna Odette; grandchildren: Addilee, Marc, Jr., Viktor, Molly, Paul, Jr., Lucy, Lainey, Peyton, Kezie, and Kali; siblings: Bryan (Kim) Clark, Michelle (Dean) Clevenger, Robert (Melinda) Clark; brother-in-law Jeff (Lori) Yager; her closest friends, Billie Jo (Rick) Williams, Brandi (Robert) Coats, and Euleta (Darren) Glassburn. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends for a memorial visitation from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, Michigan. Due to mandates, please wear a mask and practice social distancing during the visitation.

I worked with Jacqi at Ramsey County, Minnesota. She was a consultant on a challenging project. I remember her for her tenacious and spunky attitude. My heart goes out to her family and friends for your sudden and heartbreaking loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My cousin Jackie and I grew up together. We made a lot of memories. She and I adored each other, together would have so much fun. No matter how much time passed between conversations....it was always like we just talked the day before. She told me how happy she was,how much she liked her job and LOVED her husband and children and grandchildren. We spent alot of time together as teens. She and I always stuck together and had each others best intrest. She was always up for whatever crazy outrageous things I was always introducing. We loved to sail boats with my Mom and Dad. Swimming in the lake at the lake house. One time we took the boat out without asking, Not knowing it needed fuel.... we got out to the middle of the lake, when it ran out of gas.... (before cell phones) We had to "swim" the boat home and then walk to get gas!!! We did some Crazy partying teenage stuff like drag racing and walked the streets of Flint (when it was safe) running into friends and hanging out at the park. She was my best friend. We had the best times together. The twinkle in her eyes was something special. You left to early girl.... We were supposed to get old together and laugh about all our crazy times together and how we did it when we were young.......Rest in peace heartbreaker. May God keep you in his loving arms until we are reunited. Love you.

As Jackie's mother I wish to thank you all for your kind words and loving memories. I loved her very much but I was not as close to her the last few years. We had our differences but our love never changed. My memories are many and to choose one is impossible. May God hold you in His arms my Jackie, one day I will join you. I will always love you and miss you.
