James "Jim" Donald Benjamin, age 77, died Monday, November 22, 2021 at Schnepp's Senior Care in St. Louis, Michigan, where he has resided for the past four years. Jim was born in Flint, Michigan on January 21, 1944 to Joash and Lillian Benjamin.
Jim was a very proud member of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam and also serving with the US Army while there. He was an electrical contractor for 40 years, working in Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
Jim will be greatly missed by his brother, David (Sally) Benjamin of Grand Blanc, Michigan; his sister, Sharon Benjamin of St. Louis, Michigan; his nephew, Anthony (Georganne), and great-niece, Kate Benjamin of Rocky River, Ohio; as well as several long time friends and the wonderful staff that took care of him at Schnepp's Senior Care.
A great reunion is being held in Heaven as Jim joins his parents, his sister Suzanne, and his brother Richard.
The family will greet guests from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Interment with military honors will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Answer Center for Women in James' honor.
