James was born November 1, 1964, in Marion, IN, to Frederick and Shirley DeHoff who preceded him in death. James was a 1983 graduate of Eastbrook High School in Marion, and attended Purdue University.
Surviving are James’s two children who were the pride and joy of his life: Kaitlyn Kristel (Kaitie) and James Mitchell (Jamie) DeHoff; his wife, Wendy DeHoff; and special friend and mother to his children, Tracy DeHoff.
Other survivors include a brother, Frederick DeHoff, Jr., and wife Maria; a sister, Rene Mallendar and husband, Skip; a sister, Leslie Conrad and husband, William; four uncles, Bob and Jack Herschbach and Donald and Harold DeHoff; three aunts, Beatrice DeHoff, Rita Clawson, Jean Blades, and Mettie Phillips; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
On February 1, 2020, friends and family are invited to celebrate James’s life at the Depot Community Room in Kokomo, Indiana. Join us from 1pm to 6pm in sharing stories and favorite memories of James. Guests are welcome to stay in the Kokomo area and continue celebrating into the evening.
