I had the pleasure of working with Jeanette for 10 years at Cinema 10, but encountering her all throughout my childhood while seeing movies at Towne Cinema and Genesee Valley. Jeanette was always kind, easy to talk to, and had a good sense of humor. I am thankful for the time I had with a good person, good co-worker, and good friend. She will be missed.

My prayers are with the Youngs, family and friends. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Met Jeanette in January 1969 when I was 16 and started work at the Palace. What a wonderful first boss! I remember a surprise after hours birthday party we threw for her one year (covered her with Silly String!) Worked with her for 3 1/2 years, she was a bridesmaid when I got married, and every year still exchanged Christmas cards! Peace to you sweet Jeanette!

I had the pleasure of working with Jeanette for ten years at Cinema 10. She is one of the kindest people I have ever known, with never a bad word for anyone. She was loving, self-sacrificing, and a wonderful mother figure to all the kids that worked at, and visited, the theater over the years. She was family. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Young’s. I will miss her terribly.

I had the privilege of working with Jeanette at the palace theatre.I was in high school and Jeanette was in charge of making sure we learn our job as candy girls. She was like our den mother. she was always proud of the great job she did for the theatre and held us candy girls to the same standards.
Always easy going and never complained. A joy to be around her.
