Jerry Lyle Seamans

SEAMANS, Jerry L. , age 76, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In honor of Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Jerry was born on August 1, 1935 in Jackson, MI, son of the late Thelma Marsh. He was the founding owner of SEACO Special Tooling which he operated for many years. Jerry was a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and B.P.O.E. Lodge #222. He loved to travel and enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping. Jerry was an avid U of M fan, loved motorsports and had attended the Indianapolis 500 for nearly 50 years. Most importantly, he loved his family very much and had a big heart. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janet E. (White) Seamans, children Susan McCoy, Stephany “Pep” Keely, Stephen Seamans( wife Alison Delaney), and Shannon Seamans. Jerry is also survived by 9 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the Grand Blanc Heritage Museum.
