BRAWNER, JOHANNA age 73, of Grand Blanc, MI., died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her home. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 20, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. 48439. Fr. Santhiyagu Arockiyasamy officiating. Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary being prayed 6:00 P.M. at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. and Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Johanna was born February 13, 1940 in Flint, MI to parents Rockwood and Marie (Langlotz) Polzin. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Blanc and St. Mary Catholic Church, Flint. Surviving are children Christine (Randee) Bonk of Lansing, MI., Michelle (Greg) Kovel of Clio, MI., Eric (Julie) Brawner of Jackson; grandchildren Bridget and Rebecca Bonk, Brett and Abigail Kovel, Genevieve Brawner; brother Rocky (Donna) Polzin; sisters Elaine Davis and Diane (Tom) Chronowski. Preceded in death by husband Leo Brawner March 15, 2003. Contributions may be made to the Luke M. Powers Educational Trust Fund or St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint.
