Mr. John A. Daniels

DANIELS, John A. of Grand Blanc, passed away August 20, 2010 at his home after a five month illness. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw St. in Grand Blanc. Mr. Daniels will lie in state at the church at 10:30 AM. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-5 and 6-8 PM at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St. in Grand Blanc. He graduated in ‘52 from GMI and worked for 38 years at the Chevrolet V8 engine plant. He was a member of Spring Meadow Golf Club and since retirement, he and Fran wintered in their Florida home in The Villages. John enjoyed being with his family and loved golf, bridge and playing with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 58 years this month, Frances, nee Stanley; Children, Craig (Sue) Daniels, Amy (Jeff) Jacoob, Leslee (Craig) Jordan; Grandchildren, Philip, Nick and Erin Jordan, Pamela and Thomas Daniels and Kaylee Jacoob; Siblings, Ron (Bonnie) and Barb; nieces and nephew, Lisa, Laura, Judy and Stan. Donations may made to charity of donor’s choice.
