John S. Fry

Fry, John S. Age 97 of Grand Blanc, MI passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at The Oaks at Woodfield in Grand Blanc, MI. John was born June 30, 1917 in Flint, Michigan to the late Frank and Antonia Fry. After retiring from Buick, Factory 12, John worked in real estate in the Flint area. He was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc and often served as an usher. John is survived by his son, Greg Fry and wife Jan; brother, Julian Frey; sister, Helen Jarboe; sister-in-law, Joyce Frey, and many nieces and nephews to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Dorine W. Fry on March 7, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Henry Frey; sister, Rose Edwards; brother-in-law, Lloyd Jarboe, and sister in-law, Konnie Frey. John's life will be celebrated with a funeral mass at the funeral home at 12 noon on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Father Jonathan Perrotta celebrant. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice.
