John "Jack" Marks

MARKS, John “Jack” – age 76, passed away at home on April 13, 2017 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Visitation will be held from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm- 8pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held at 12pm with one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Hill Funeral. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan following the service. Jack was born on July 16, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Floyd and Rosemary (Obrien) Marks. Jack was a man of many talents always working on something such as computers, home improvements, and gardening. He loved spending time with his family and friends, golfing, and Sudoku puzzles. In 2003, Jack married Sue McAtamney and together they traveled often and spent time at their vacation home in Florida. Jack was a wonderful man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Sue; children: Christopher (Joanne) Marks, Adam Marks, James (Ruth) Marks; step-children: Ken (Jeanne) McAtamney, Keith (Colleen) McAtamney, Kevin (Kathy) McAtamney; grandchildren: Taylor (Emilee), Josh, Nicole, Josh, Amelia, Sarah, Joey, Tommy, Jessica, Jacob, Jack, Andrew, Allison; siblings, Nancy and Donald; and many loving family members. He was preceded in death by sister, Pat; brothers, Tom, and Jim. Arrangements under the direction of Hill Funeral Home, Grand Blanc, MI.
