Jon Loughridge

LOUGHRIDGE, Jon H. – age 51, passed away on October 31, 2017 in Southfield, Michigan. Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 3pm with one hour of visitation prior to the service with Pastor Brian Brewer officiating at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Jon was born on October 16, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan. Jon was full of life; he enjoyed bringing laughter and joy to those around him. He was an extremely caring, giving, and compassionate man, always willing to help anyone in need. He met the love of his life, Paula Massie, nearly 20 years ago. Separated for over a decade they were finally reunited, and married on August 16, 2014. Jon loved to watch movies, listen to music, and spend time with his family and friends. He would thrive on having a gathering at their house; he would even make up a reason in order to throw a party! Jon also loved to spend time with and spoil their three dogs: Bob, Stewart, and Baby. Jon was an excellent salesman, his last few years he worked at Randy Wise Auto Group in Clio, Michigan. His joyful spirit filled the lives of many and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Paula; sisters, Ann Loughridge Lori Loughridge; step-brother, Bill (Debbie) Schmidt; in-laws, Hollis and Christina Massie; siblings-in-law: Michele (Dan) Kemling, Frank (Shari) Massie, Lisa (Billy) Holloway, Hollis (Heather) Massie II; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Jean Loughridge; step-mother, Norma Simmons. Arrangements under the direction of Hill Funeral Home, Grand Blanc, MI.
