Joseph Bernard Grant

GRANT, JOSEPH BERNARD age 92, died Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at home with his family. Funeral Services will be 11:30 Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Rev. Flora Ash officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 to 7:00 P.M. and Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Saturday. Joseph was born March 31, 1927 in Detroit, MI to parents James and Cecelia (Landry) Grant. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Department of Natural Resources. Surviving are children Steve (Fran) Grant, Dan (Cindy) Grant, Phil (Sue) Grant, Rose (Jim) Biernesser, Anita Grant, and loved as a daughter Teresa Morales, Yvonne (Lisa) Slanger-Grant; 23 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; sisters Mary (Pat) Mattingly, Cathy (Lou) Grieshaber; many nieces and nephews; son-in-law Al Funke. Preceded in death by his wife Rose and Daughter Bernadette. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Med Team Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
