Joseph was born on January 6, 1938, to the late Joseph Sr. and Helen (Toth) Kukola in Yale, Michigan. A number of years later, he married his beloved wife, Kay. Joseph retired from Fisher 1, where he worked as a tool and dye maker. He enjoyed many different hobbies including raising and showing horses, and had a love for classic cars. Joseph could always be found wearing his cowboy hat, and would often be at swap meets and car shows. In earlier years, he loved to travel with his wife. Joseph was quite talented musically as well, and was in a group called The Three J's and would play guitar while his wife and sister sang. Joseph was a wonderful man, who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Joseph leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister Judith Vincent, brother Jerry Kukola, godchild Loran (Christa) Symonds who was like a son to him, grandchildren Delaney (Anthony), Dominic and Danyelle, and many great grandchildren.
Joseph is preceded in death by his wife Kay, daughters Debra and Tracy, and parents Helen and Joseph.
A graveside service for Joseph will be held at a later date and time.
