Karen Sue Hetzer

Karen was born on November 19, 1958, to Norman and Billy Jean (Hensley) Mouser in Flint, Michigan. She loved to crochet blankets, especially for her family. Karen and her husband, Mark, loved to travel to many places, including Las Vegas and Nashville. She loved to visit the casinos, and was a big fan of Flint's Back to the Bricks. Above everything else, Karen loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy. Karen was a loving person, and will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who had the privilege to know her.

Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 29 years, Mark; children Jennifer, Courtney (James), Tyler (Tayler) and Autumn (Zak); daughter in law Heather; grandchildren Sydnee (Jared), Kaylee, Zoie, Joshua, Emma, Aaron, Taylor, Riley, James, Raelynn, Olivia, Kinslee and Paislee; great grandchildren Bentley and Bailee; sisters Nancy (Randy) and Jeannie; and many nieces and nephews.

Karen is preceded in death by her son Michael, daughter Angela, mother Billy Jean, father Norman and brother in law Chuck.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Karen on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00am, with a visitation at 10:00am at Oakwood Restoration Church - 5220 Oakwood Rd., Ortonville, MI. Luncheon to follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that contributions be made American Cancer Society and American Lung Association.
