Kathleen May Irish

IRISH, Kathleen May – Age 75, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Willow Brook Manor. Mrs. Irish was born February 16, 1937 in Flint the daughter of Fred and Margaret (Lawrence) Knoodle. Kathleen’s churches were a big part of her life. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church and for the last two years she was a member of Flushing Community Church. Kathleen was also a member of the Eastern Star. Her passion was quilting and Kathleen was a member of Genesee Star Quilters Guild and Sew What. She also loved to flower gardening. Kathleen worked as a binder for Perry Printing and retired from Curtis Printing. Surviving are her children, Penny (Jim) Schaale, Tommy (Tami) Irish, Kellie (Keith) Goderis; grandchildren, Anna Lanford and Brian, Shane Irish, Seth Irish, Kaylee Goderis, Matthew Terry and Shane Terry; great granddaughter, Briana; brother, Jerry (Pamela) Knoodle; sister-in-law, Jimmie Knoodle; many nieces, nephews other relatives and her cat Miss Rosie. Mrs. Irish was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Candi Urich and brother, Fred Knoodle. Friends may visit the family from 12 noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Terry Bate will officiate. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park.
