Kathleen A. Russ

RUSS, Kathleen ‘Kathy’ – Age 63, a resident of Golden Living Center – Riverview, Tomahawk, Wisconsin, Formerly of Grand Blanc, passed away May 23, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by her family. Kathy was born October 6, 1947 in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of William and Ruth (Jennings) Little. She married Walter D. Russ on February 3, 1968 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Walter passed away January 7, 2000. Kathy was a sales representative with Avon for many years and ran a day care for 25 years. She was very caring and loving to her family and friends and was an animal lover. She lived in the Tomahawk area for the past 6 years, and was the “official greeter” at Golden Living Center – Riverview. Surviving are her children, Walter (Annie) Russ of Birch Run, Michigan, Julie Turner of Flushing, Michigan, twin sons, Terry and Jerry Russ of Tucson, Arizona, Michele (Terry) Van Keuren of Grand Blanc, Michigan; sister, Laurie (Swede) Jorgensen of Tomahawk, Wisconsin; brother William (Barb) Little of Grand Blanc, Michigan; step mother, Olive Little. Kathy is further survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and granddaughter, Joanna. Friends may visit the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hill Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the funeral home. Pastor Joe Hall will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
