Keith Papa Keith Michael Parkinson

PARKINSON, Keith, of Flint was taken home to the Lord on June 4, 2011. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24 at 11 AM at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 23 from 2 pm to 8 pm. An evening service will be held Thursday at 7 PM. Keith was born in Flint on January 3, 1958, the son of Lesten and Elaine (Delong) Parkinson. He was a very honorable man with a kind heart. He loved nature and nature’s animals. He was as enthusiastic and excellent bowler. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, family cookouts and walking his beloved dogs, Polo and PeeWee. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.

Keith is survived by his loving children, Matthew Parkinson and Christa Parkinson; step-children, Steven and Sirena Grosinsky; grandchildren, Joesiah, baby Matthew Step-grandchildren, DaVonte, Terah, Aliahna, Arabella and Braylin; sister, Joyce (Richard) Tanzer; Nieces, Michelle and Tara Parkinson and Keisha Fuller; Nephew, Todd Parkinson; Cousins, Dave and Gary Parkinson and friends, especially Beatris, Mick, Suzie , Jeff and Rod. He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Lester and faithful canine companions, Kyler and Pooh Chew. We love you, Papa Keith.
