

GRAHAM, Leone M.- Age 97 of Grand Blanc, passed away on January 5, 2012 at McCandlish Manor. The funeral service will take place on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11 AM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI with Rev. George L. Cleaves, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Visitation will be at Hill Funeral Home on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, Grand Blanc, MI or the charity of the donor’s choice. Leone, the daughter of Oliver and Muriel (McLean) Minock was born on March 19, 1914 in Detroit, Michigan. She later moved to Grand Blanc and graduated from Grand Blanc High School. On March 2, 1935, Leone married Lamont Graham in Flint and they enjoyed 67 years of married life together. Leone initially worked as a beautician. After her children came along, she greatly enjoyed being a homemaker, a Girl Scout leader and a fantastic cake decorator (even making the wedding cakes for the weddings of her two children). After retiring, Leone and Lamont moved to Florida where she enjoyed playing golf, playing cards, reading and creating beautiful cross-stitch pieces. Surviving are: son, Daniel (Marilyn) Graham; brother, Robert (Jo Ann) Minock; brother-in-law, Francis Blessing; son-in-law, Gregory Baehr; and grandchildren, Heather (Bryan) Glazer and Erin (Brandon Grice) Baehr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Leone was preceded in death by her husband, Lamont, and her daughter, Patricia Baehr. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.hillfh.com.
