

Lisa held a special place in her heart for the residents and employees at Middleton Home. In the steady way she cared about others and the quiet joy she found in everyday moments, Lisa’s warmth and appreciation for those around her were evident. Lisa was very strong-willed and sassy, which brought joy to those around her.
Music and the outdoors were among Lisa’s favorite comforts and delights. She especially cherished times when staff would take her down by the water; simple outings that brought her peace and contentment.
Lisa is survived by her sister Jenny Higa; nieces and nephews Kaylea (Jacob) George, Skyler Colvin, Andrew (Kylie) Pouillon, Mike Pouillon, Joshua Pouillon, Alyson Pouillon; step-dad Donald Moorehead; and many other family members and loved ones.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mom Linda Brelinski; step-dad Lawrence Higa; and sister Sara Pouillon.
A memorial visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439, on August 15, 2026 from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
Memorial donations may be made to Haven of Rest Hospice Home in Owosso, Michigan.
