ARMOUR, Lois F. – age 87, God welcomed Lois home with loving arms on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 with her daughter and son-in-law at her side. There will be a visitation for Lois from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday with Fr. Jay Gantz officiating. On Monday, August 30, 2010 a visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery. Lois was born May 17, 1923 in Prescott, MI the daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (Cole) Wiltfong, she was one of 15 children, 10 brothers and 5 sisters. She married William Armour on May 16, 1943. Lois lived most of her adult life in Grand Blanc. She attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Flint where she was a member of the Daughters of the King. Surviving are: daughter, Lois Jean Cain and husband Patrick; son-in-law, Ed Cook; grandchildren, Melissa Cain, Matthew Cain, William Thorpe and wife Sue, Chris Pichey, Tonya Link, Thomas Brookman, Jonathon Brookman and wife Debra, Kami Rhoads and husband Kevin, James Cook and wife Crystal, and Shawn Cook and wife Corinne; many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; a brother, Roy and a sister, Alice. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, William; daughters, Janice Cook and Sharon Radocks; son-in-law, Robert Radocks; grandson, Joshua Cain and 12 brothers and sisters.
