Marie Emma Ford

FORD, Marie E. – Age 79, of Flint, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Los Palmas Medical Center, El Paso, Texas. Mrs. Ford was born August 11, 1932 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of Matthew and Marie (Lampl) Henry. She was a member of Mt. Morris Church of Christ. Marie enjoyed, quilting, painting, ceramics and taught quilting classes. She also enjoyed birds especially hummingbirds and her flower garden. Mrs. Ford worked as a Legal Secretary for Morrissey, Bove and Ebbott Law Firm for many years. Surviving are her sons, Vernon Eric (Cynthia) Ford II of El Paso, Texas, Bennett Henry (Cynthia) Ford of Flint; grandchildren, Michaella Ford, Emerson, Ethan and Edmond Ford; brother, Herman Henry of Tippler, Wisconsin. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Ford, brothers, Matthew and Raymond Ford. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday April 6, 2012 at the funeral home. Mr. Garfield Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park.
