OBITUARY

Marilyn Allen

August 21, 1952January 19, 2021

Marilyn Marie (nee Filipovich) Allen of Davison, Michigan, got her wings around 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey Allen; sisters Nancy (Arnie) Schwartz and DeeAnn (Glen) Peterson; grandsons, Josh and Zach Wolfin; and great-grandson, Mairick Wolfin. She is also survived by several extended family members and friends.

Marilyn was born on August 21, 1952 in Flint to the late Melvin "Flip" and Marie "Mary" Filipovich. She attended Grand Blanc High School, and worked at Flint Chevy Truck and Bus until she retired. After retirement, she was a volunteer at Dye Elementary, as well as Applewood. She was an amazing woman, loved by many, and her laughter was contagious.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made in Marilyn's honor to Quality Living Systems (PO Box 7029, Flint, MI 48507) or the ASPCA (6955 W Kl Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49009) as both were dear to her heart.

We love you Bubba Nubba, Shine on.

I remember when Marilyn moved in next door on fairwood drive. She was a very good person with a wonderful smile. My deepest condolences to her family.
