

POUPORE, Marlene M. – of Burton, age 62, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic after having surgery at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI with Fr. Phillip Schweda, Fr. Andrew Czajkowski, and Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Burial follows at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, MI. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI where the Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation at church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. Marlene enjoyed and loved spending time with her children and 10 grandchildren. She loved shopping, decorating and playing cards. She had a heart of gold and was very generous to everyone. Surviving are: children, Christopher G. Poupore and wife Taunya of Grand Blanc, Melissa Poupore Smith and husband Scott of Fenton, and Holly Poupore and Reginald Wallace of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Cameron, Lauren, Tommy, Joseph, Donte, Cooper, Jonah, Addison, Jaidyn and Maura; brothers and sisters, Earl St. John, Jr. and wife Rose, Susan Brierley and husband Ben, Nancy Fazer, Twin Sister Marilyn Poupore and husband Mike, Terry St. John and wife Marilyn; many nieces and nephews.
