GOLD, Mary Jane – Age 90, of Flint, died Saturday, January 15, 2011. Mrs. Gold was born September 7, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter of Horace and Ethyl Carrell. She was an avid square dancer with her husband John and became a long time Pistons fan with her husband and son Terry. Mary Jane was a long time summer resident of Hubbard Lake. Surviving are her daughter, Carol (Russ) Stevens of Spruce, MI, son Terry Gold of Davison, grandson, Ryan (Jennifer) Stevens, great grandson, Cooper Stevens. Mrs. Gold was preceded in death by her husband John Gold. Friends may visit the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
