Mary M. (Robinson) Weaver, age 83 of Grand Blanc, joined her daughters Rita and Tammy in heaven on September 5, 2019. Mary was born on July 4, 1936 in Scarbro, West Virginia to Matthew and Virginia Rogers. She married Billy Paul Robinson and during their 29 year marriage they were blessed with five daughters and one son. For better employment opportunities, they left West Virginia for Elmira Heights, New York and then later to Flint, Michigan. Mary was a loving stay at home mom for many years, skilled at Southern cooking and baking. She had a variety of jobs as store clerk, waitress, bingo concession manager, and bingo worker. She loved playing games ranging from Jacks to Uno, to softball and bingo. Country and gospel music were among her favorites and she was known to “cut the rug” from time to time. Mary married again to Oscar Weaver, who preceded her in death in 2009. The final years of her life she called Warwick Assisted Living her home. She had many wonderful caregivers who made her last years comfortable. Leaving to cherish her memory are daughters: Vickie (Tom) James, Diane Rodriguez, Ann Robinson; son, Bill (Darlene) Robinson; grandchildren: Matthew, Leah, Jason, Eddie, Deena, Alex, Nicole, Joey, Barry, Bryce, Savanah, and Cohen; 10 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild; sisters: Sandy (Chris) Christian, and JoAnn McMahon. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; daughters: Rita and Tammy Robinson; brothers, sisters-in-law, and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. The family will receive visitors two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11am.
