my thoughts and prayers go out to Matts family, i worked with him at A.C. I enjoyed many a moments with him, working, laughing, discuss many topics, all and all, just a nice person to be around. I will miss him.

So sorry to hear about Matt.  So many memories of him growing up in the old neighborhood.  Great guy and so talented.  Though gone too soon I know he is in a better place and my prayers of comfort go out to all of his family. God rest Matt and God Bless.

It was a shock to me that Matt passed. He was always so fit. I worked with Matt at AC as a tinsmith, Norm too. I also helped him for a few days put duct work in his house on Stockton and Third St, just kitty corner from where I grew up. I watched and helped him a few times bend fencing materials around the cement post in his driveway so he could build another one of his awesome fences and gates. What talent he had. I was so impressed. I know he loved his daughter because he always spoke highly of her all the time. He will always stay in my heart. Goodbye Matthew.

Matt was such a great guy, always had that shy smile for everyone! He will be missed by all that knew him!

So sorry to hear of Matt's passing.  Lots of great memories growing up on Bennett Avenue.  I always knew Matt to be a gentle soul.  Memory Eternal!

 I met Matt on my walk to the first day of school at St. Leo's. From then on seems like we were hooked at the hip. Everyone thought we were brothers. In a way we really were. Words can't describe the loss we feel at his passing. All I can say is it's your turn to buy Starlight next time.

So sorry to hear of Matt's passing. He was a truely kind person who always had a smile.  I enjoyed working with him and am sad that he is gone so soon.  I remember so many conversations when he was remodeling his house in Flint.  Thoughts and prayers to you all.

I've held Matt near and dear to me as an additional brother. He married my dear sister Chachi. He also married my family, as we did him. They have a beautiful daughter Anastasia. Life was good for Matt then in 1977. He was so happy with his daughter, that he sought me out at Kearsley park among thousands to give me the news. Matt was an original thinker, that came from books of philosophers, artist, and studying spirituality. When I got hired in AC, he greeted me instantly. He was my older brother that looked out for me. He had more to contribute. However, the good Lord needed him now. As before Matt, don't fear the reaper. Best to the Young family, his darling daughter Anastasia, my dear sister Chachi, and the rest of his family and friends. Godspeed.
