Doc was my Friend, he visited station 5 almost every day that I worked and I grew very close to him, he would tell me so many stories over the years from his time as a little boy and hanging out with the firemen at #5 to his days in the service in WW2, his long journey getting towed back from Palilu to his college years and getting married and becoming a doctor, raising his family that he was so proud of, to hunting up north with his wife. So many more things flood my mind as I write these down, so I’ll just say I miss Doc, I miss the station door bell ringing and him standing there waiting to share a coffee and a story, to the family you guys are in my thoughts and prayers, and just know that your father was loved by so many.

Wishing you well, drop an email sometime. Your dad was a very accomplished talented man. Bless you and all your good memories of him. Pat Beal
