Michael W. Hoffman

HOFFMAN, Michael W. – of Grand Blanc, age 62, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. Military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Mr. Hoffman was born January 1951 in Flint, MI. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served in Viet Nam, Korea and Germany and retired from the National Guard in 1994. He was very proud of his grandchildren and loved them very much. Surviving are: wife, Karen and her parents, Allan and Dorothy Stephens; children, Steven, Joseph and wife Sarah, Eric and Denise; sister, Pamela Nelson and husband Alex; 11 grandchildren including newborn grandson, Michael Wayne Hoffman II (his little treasure); and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hoffman was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Hoffman, mother, Kathleen Frownfelter, and brother, Dale Frownfelter.
