Michael Scott Ward

Michael’s life was marked by a steady appreciation for the world beyond the everyday—drawn to sightseeing, adventures, and the outdoors, especially time spent up north. He found deep meaning in being with his family, and he especially cherished the moments shared with his grandkids.

He was also someone who took quiet satisfaction in working with his hands, often found tinkering on cars or anything with a motor—patiently turning attention and effort into something that ran a little better than before.

Michael will be remembered with respect and enduring affection by his family and friends.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Georgeann Ward, daughter Erika (Raven) Hatton, sons Anthony (Nicole) Ward and Samuel (Ryan) Ward, brother Mark Ward, and grandchildren Dillon, Chelsea, Logan, Emary, Kylee and Hadley.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Garry and Mary Ward and brother Monty Ward.

A memorial service for Michael will be held at a later date and time.
