Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich, MI. Funeral Services will be 1:00
P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw
St., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Patrick England officiating. Interment at
Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M..
Milton was born January 25, 1929 in Attica Twp. in Lapeer, to parents Alex
and Frances (Larsen) Andersen. He resided in Attica until moving to Grand
Blanc in 1966. He married Joan Hedley of Caseville, MI., December 4,
1954, in the Caseville Methodist Church. Milton worked as a farmer until
joining the U.S. Air Force in 1950. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict
and graduated from Northrop Aeronautical Engineering Institute. He was a
(Past President) of the Imlay City Lions Club,Treasurer of the Lapeer
County Republican Party, Attica Township Treasurer, and past member of
the Imlay City American Legion Post # 135. Milton worked for the
McDonald Dairy for 24 years and was President of Pure Sealed Dairy in Ft.
Wayne, IN for 6 years, retiring in 1984. He was on the Indiana Dairy
Council. Sales and Marketing Executive Club (Salesman of the Year).
Milton was a wonderful and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He
will be sadly missed. Surviving are son Tracy Andersen; daughter Jan
(Wayne) Coley all of Grand Blanc; grandchildren Terry and Cassady Coley;
of Grand Blanc, MI.; sister Eileen Weyer of Imlay City, MI.; several nieces
and nephews; dog, Willy. Preceded in death are wife Joan P. Andersen in
1997; son Terry Andersen in 1976; brother Norman (Elaine) Andersen.
