I have had the pleasure of working with Nancy for the past 31 years at Meijer. I used to give Nancy perms which gave us a chance to become friends. She always talked about her children always bragging on them. And she also loved her grand babies. The day we lost Nancy I was working with her. It was early and we were slow. She was in really good spirits. We talked about our childhood. She talked about her sister on how she was always there for her. Especially when she needed her. Talked about school. Her children. And she was so excited about her vacations coming up. Then we talked about retiring. Nancy I am truly going to miss you. The cumtomers and. Team members are taking this hard. We love you❤️ Rest in Heaven.
God Bless!

Return to 1974. Nancy was 11. We both lived in Linden. I joined the Big Brothers/Big Sisters. I had the special fortune of becoming her Big Sister for a couple years. I have very fond memories of her. She was a very sweet little girl. Many years later our paths crossed again.

Josh and family, I am very sorry for your loss. God Bless.

Nancy was one of three cousins (all close to my age) who made me feel very welcome when our family moved to Michigan after my mother had passed. I was just 16 at the time and I will never forget that summer of smiles, pranks, Fleetwood Mac and Journey, our rides in an old red Vega and having innocent fun as teenagers enjoying life and newfound friendships. Nancy, along with my other two cousins truly gave me hope by welcoming me during a turbulent and painful time in my life. She (they) probably never knew how much their support and acceptance of me, their cousin truly meant. Thank you Nancy and God’s peace always.

I had the pleasure of working with Nancy at Meijer from 2000 to 2004. She was a very sweet lady to work with and always knew how to take care of customers. She’ll be missed by many and my prayers go out to the family.
