I had never seen Nancy, but only corresponded with her through the FISTS Club. When I received the latest FISTS newsletter today, and saw her kind face on the cover and saw the SK, I sat down on my front porch and was reminded how very short is our spark in this world.
I had never seen a picture of Nancy and had my own image in my mind whenever she answered my emails or renewed my membership in FISTS.
The picture you chose for the cover of the FISTS newsletter is flawless. I had no idea there was such a genuine, sweet and passionate face behind all those emails and membership emails.

My thoughts go out to her husband Tim and her parents. Amateur radio and Morse has lost a major pillar, a CW cornerstone, and a friend. 73, Nancy. Peace and Goodwill. BCNU agn om.

I had a close working relationship with Nancy while she was Editor of WorldRadio. Even after I left, we were in touch...for in some time.
Her passing was a shock, we hadn't spoken in a while.
She will be missed.
May God bless Tim and her family.

Saddened to hear that Nancy now is a silent key. So many a time she helped me in various matters.

It was a privilege and a pleasure for me to speak with her a number of times at the FISTS table at Dayton. I looked forward to doing so each time I attended. It is saddening to know that she will not be there. May she rest in peace and may her loved ones be consoled by the wonderful memories they have of being with her.
