Nancy Lee Luke

LUKE, NANCY LEE age 83 passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at her home in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Private Memorial Services have taken place. Nancy was born April 10, 1931 in Flint Michigan to parents Edward and Elizabeth (Muir) Rollier. Nancy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Flint. An avid golfer she and her husband of 63 years, Edwin E. Luke, were members of the Flint Golf Club, Naples Heritage Golf Club of Florida and Warwick Hill of Grand Blanc. Nancy and Ed loved to travel and did so abroad and throughout the United States. More recently they spent time in their homes in Florida and Northern Michigan. Most important to Nancy were her family. She and Ed raised their family in Flint and later moved to Grand Blanc to reside in her Mother’s farmhouse. She was a wonderful, loving Wife, Mother, Grand Mother and friend to many. She will be terribly missed by all. Surviving are her husband Edwin, children Edwin Marcus Luke, John Robert (Heidi) Luke, Janine (Steve) Bair, William James (Tammy) Luke; grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Robert, Jake, Allison, Catherine, Victoria, Anna & Natalie; great grandchildren Ivy, Iris, Jordan & Gibson. Preceded in death by son Thomas Allen Luke and brother Edward “Bud” Rollier. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Flint, Reverence Genesys Hospice or Wounded Warriors.
