Patricia "Patti" Forde

Born on December 7, 1949, Patti lived life unapologetically. She spent her career as a hairdresser, where her clients came for the style but stayed for the unfiltered conversation and humor that only Patti could deliver. She loved the ocean, had an undeniable sweet tooth, and surrounded herself with the color aqua, the perfect shade for her bold personality and vibrant red hair.

Patti was predeceased by her parents, Grace and Otto, her sisters Cathy and Dimps, her goddaughter Michelle, and her former husband, Phil. She leaves behind her children Nicole (Brian) Hayes and Kevin (Yury) Forde; her grandchildren Emma, Liam, Alli, Ford, Jackson, and Emersyn; her sisters Gerri (Jim) and Angel (Nelson); and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her wit, her laugh, and her larger-than-life presence.

Whether you called her P Forde, Patsy, or Patti, you knew she was unforgettable. Her family and friends will remember her not only for the laughs and the love, but also for the strong voice she carried into every room.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 25 at 11:00 AM at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E 241st St, Bronx, NY 10470 Officiated by Fr. Brendan.
