Patsy was happily married for 59 years to her late husband William "Bill" Stratton. Patsy was a skilled seamstress and also worked at General Motors before she decided to stay home to take care of her two children Sherri and Perry. Playing cards or scrabble was Patsy's favorite activity, along with playing golf and bowling. Patsy and Bill were also known as Patches and Pinky with the Shriners. They both participated in the Shriners and traveled all over with each other. Patsy opened up her home to Ricardo Cox Hoyos, an exchange student from Bolivia who lived with the Stratton Family from 1986-1987. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her kind heart and generous spirit
Pasty is survived by her children: Sherri (Bryan Hardin) Stratton, and Perry (Kellie) Stratton; grandchildren: Lance Schopieray, Ashely (Nick) Cambell, Savannah Stratton, Ridley Stratton; great-grandchildren: Karson Cambell, Roczen Cambell; brother Jimmy Powell.
Preceded in death by husband Bill Stratton; parents Finis and Lelia Powell.
