Paul William Yunker Jr.

YUNKER, Paul William Jr. – age 51 of Grand Blanc, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Friday May 8, 2015 from 10AM-11AM. A memorial service will be held at 11AM Friday May 8, 2015 at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Jim Combs officiating. Paul was born May 6, 1963 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Paul William Sr. and Martha Ann (Young) Yunker. Paul was a member of The River Church in Holly. He worked for Rite Aid for the last 30 years. He enjoyed golfing and MSU football. He loved watching his boys swim competitively with the Flint Falcons, of which he was the former president. Paul was an Eagle Scout, Troop #435 of Lansing, MI. He also loved sitting on the deck and listening to Dave Matthews Band. But most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them no matter what it was they were doing. His final act of kindness was being a donor to Gift of Life. Surviving are his wife, Karen Yunker; sons, A.J. (Ellie), and Andrew; parents, Paul William Sr. and Martha Ann Yunker; sisters, Suzi Yunker and Alan Beegle, and Debbie (Chris) Mendles; best buddy Gary Noble; his dog, Spumanti; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis E. and Mary Sabra Young and Dr. Phillip E. and Mary Elizabeth Yunker.
