Pauline and her family summered at the family cottage at Point Lookout on Lake Huron for the last 84 years. Five generations of the family vacationed at the cottage. She and her sister Marie enjoyed swimming in Lake Huron every morning, regardless of the weather conditions or the water temperature. The family loved to play bridge in the summer house overlooking the lake. It was a retreat from the world and a haven for creating family memories.
A charitable fund was created in Pauline's name for the benefit of students at the Flint Institute of Arts. Donations can be made to the fund.
