Rachel M. Wright

Rachel Mary Wright, 78 years young, born in Brooklyn, New York on February 10, 1940, was called home by our Heavenly Father on August 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her earthly mother and father, Victor and Frances (Giamundo) Henry; brother, Victor Henry, Jr., and son, Victor Henry Wright. She was a beautiful daughter, sister, loving wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma, and a caring friend to many. She enjoyed long walks, quilting, romance novels, puzzle books, watching her grand and great grandchildren grow, spending time with the family as well as others, and laughter. She was fierce, strong, and spicy with a heart of gold. Carrying on her memory are husband of 56 years, Gene Wright; children: Mark Wright, Julia (Michael) Stenger; grandchildren: Michele Stenger and fiance, David, Thomas Stenger; great grandchildren: Shea and Mya Ramm; sister, Ann Cunturso, sister-in-law, Jeannette (Steve) Slackta; nieces and nephews, and many adopted by Love Friends of the Family. She will be sorely missed by never forgotten. Forever in our hearts; until we meet again. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Father Gordon Reigle celebrating. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 3, 2018 from 2-8pm. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
