Ray Glyn McDaniel

MCDANIEL, Ray G. – age 70 of Grand Blanc, MI passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at McLaren Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 1PM at Hill Funeral Home -11723 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will take place at Crestwood Cemetery. Ray was born on September 5, 1945 in Paragould, AR to the late Sherman and Virginia (Owens) McDaniel. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married Penny Flora on October 2, 1965 who preceded him in death in 2014. Ray enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing. Surviving are his children; Cindy (Scott) Lidstrand, and Becky (Harold) Schleicher; grandchildren, Stephanie, Danielle, Nicholas, Kenneth, and Heather; 1 great-grandchild on the way; brothers, Mike McDaniel, Dave (Esther) McDaniel, Joe (Faye) McDaniel, and Jerry McDaniel; sisters, Mary (Brad) Antrup, and Sis (Mike) Riley; and his dog, Whiskey. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Penny McDaniel; son, Anthony Scott McDaniel; and grandson, Keith McDermott.
