Born on June 5, 1948, to the late Lloyd and Rita Geraldine Vadnais, Renée was a woman of extraordinary love, unwavering faith, and a heart that seemed to have room for everyone. To know her was to be loved by her, and there was perhaps no greater gift she could have given to the people fortunate enough to be part of her life.
Renée's Catholic faith was the foundation upon which she built her life. Her love for God was steadfast, and she lived that faith in the way she treated others, with kindness, compassion, generosity, and grace. As an active member of the Church of the Holy Family in Grand Blanc, her faith was not simply something she believed in, but something she practiced every day. She gave freely of herself, never seeking recognition or expecting anything in return. For Renée, loving others was simply a way of life.
On October 28, Renée and her beloved husband, Ronald Parizon, would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary. In Ron, she found not only a husband, but the love of her life, her companion, and the person with whom she shared so many of life's most meaningful moments. Their marriage was a beautiful chapter in a life defined by love, built through the years they spent side by side, the family they cherished, and the life they made together. Among all the blessings Renée held dear, the love she shared with Ron was one of her greatest.
Above all else, Renée treasured her family. She was the heart that brought everyone together, the steady presence that kept loved ones connected, and the person who understood that family was something to be cherished and nurtured. Her love reached far beyond her children and grandchildren, extending to her siblings, relatives, lifelong friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She valued the relationships she built throughout her life, faithfully attending school reunions and finding joy in maintaining the friendships and connections that meant so much to her.
Renée had a beautiful gift for creating things with her hands, especially through her love of sewing and quilting. It was a passion that brought her happiness and reflected the patience, creativity, and care she carried into so many parts of her life.
She also had a special way of making life's celebrations unforgettable. Christmas held a particularly dear place in her heart. She made certain her family understood that the true joy of the season came from celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, yet it was her own warmth, traditions, and unmistakable touch of magic that made those celebrations so treasured. The wonder she created became part of her family's story, a gift that will continue to be passed from one generation to the next.
Renée was a devoted mother to Monique Brenner (Brad), Aimée LaCavera (Paul), Brian Beaudoin (Amber), and Jeramiah Parizon.
She was a cherished grandmother to Brittany Coburn (Nicholas), Kaitie DeSimone (Tony), Elise Mack (Kyle), Rebecca Mack, Halley Beaudoin, Kaia Beaudoin, Mattéa Beaudoin, Luciano LaRose, and Aldabella LaRose. Her love also extends to her great-grandchildren, Rylee Coburn and Mila Coburn, and to Weston VandenBrooks, whose arrival is eagerly awaited.
Renée is also survived by her siblings, Sherrie Adis (Richard), Mary Kay Wilk, Deborah Smith, Laurel Edwards (Alan), Vicki Vadnais, and Georgette Boudreau (Dennis); and her sister-in-law, Kathy Webber. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Geraldine Vadnais; her brother, Michael Webber; and her brother-in-law, Larry Wilk.
There are some people whose love becomes so much a part of a family that it is impossible to separate their presence from the lives they touched. Renée was one of those rare souls. She was the thread that held generations together, the warmth that made people feel at home, and the steady reminder of what it meant to love wholeheartedly.
And perhaps that is the most beautiful thing about a life like Renée's. The love she gave does not end with her passing. It lives in the people she raised, the faith she shared, the traditions she began, and the family she spent a lifetime bringing together. It lives in every act of kindness offered without expectation, every gathering where loved ones come together, and every moment her family chooses to carry forward the love she taught them.
Renée spent her life giving her heart to others, and in doing so, left a little of it with everyone she loved.
