Richard was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge in Flint, Michigan, where he became a 32nd Degree Mason and active Shriner. A man of strong work ethic. Richard mastered the balance of hard work and always making time for fun. He found great joy on the water, proudly calling himself the captain of his boat. He will be remembered for his quick wit, humor, and his ability to make light of any situation. He loved country music and dancing, especially to George Strait, Alan Jackson and ABBA. A self-described cowboy at heart, he loved a starched shirt, blue jeans, and a good pair of
cowboy boots.
