Richard Martin

Richard was born November 27, 1938, in Flint, Michigan to the late Garnet and Dorothy (Wells) Martin. He met the love of his life, Lenda, at Rollerhaven roller rink in 1957, and they went on to spend many years creating joyous memories. One of Richard's favorite pastimes was to go riding on his Kowasaki motorcycle. He and his wife, Lenda, loved camping with their family and did so for many years with both their daughters, and their grandchildren. Richard also liked to go fishing, and sailing. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who cherished his family and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 61 years, Lenda; loving daughters Deb (Chris) Dudek Anderson and Kimberly Locker (Page Brooks); precious grandchildren Shannon (Paul) Hodson, Alex (Renee) Dudek and Krysten Dudek; adored great grandchildren Taylor Fuson, Mya Hodson and Ronnie Dudek; dear sister Barbara (Howard) Eddy; dear sister in law, Glenda (Warren) Berry; and several nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Garnet and Dorothy; brother Garnet Martin; sister in law Marion Martin; brother in law Robert McDaniel; and sister in law Patsy Noel.

A memorial service for Richard will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI.
