Richard W. McEwen – Age 89, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, December 5, 2014 at Heartland Health Care in Troy, MI. Mr. McEwen was born November 8, 1925 in Kanas City, Missouri the son of Wiley and Elenor McEwen. He served his country during W.W.II with the U.S. Army. He enjoyed golf, skiing and was a glider pilot. Richard was a member of the Civil Air Patrol Search and Rescue. Mr. McEwen worked for Ford International as a Product Engineer and traveled the world extensively. Surviving are his sons, Craig and Kyle McEwen; grandchildren, Megan and Ian McEwen. Mr. McEwen was preceded in death by his wife Laura McEwen February 7, 2014. As were his wishes cremation has taken place. Share your condolences with the family at www.brownfh.com.
