Rickey Dwaine Hughes

Rickey loved working, building and fixing things. He enjoyed spending time outside, hunting and fishing. He loved playing games and being with his grandkids. Rickey would stop whatever he was doing to talk with people, even if he didn't know them. He was caring and helpful and would do anything he could to be there for people and share his knowledge. He has been a great role model to his kids, grandkids, family and friends.

Rickey is survived by his wife Deborah, son Russell (Dawn), daughter Roxanne (Rachel), furbaby Bella, granddaughters Miracle and Rylee, grandsons Hudson and Clayton, his sisters Cindy, Penny (James), Tracy (Bill), and Amy (James), and brother Dickey (Debra).

Rickey was preceded in death by his mother Thelma, father Richard, sister Marcy, grandsons Joseph and Raymond, and granddaughters Abigail and Arabella.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.

A funeral visitation for Rickey will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. In honor of Rickey, please wear MSU (green) or Detroit Lions (blue) attire.
