FERGUSON, Rita Mary - age 88, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at McLaren Bay Regional Medical Center. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Rita was born July 16, 1926 in Dearborn, MI to the late Ignatz and Jennie (Swiatlowski) Lazaruk. She is survived by her children, Richard Ferguson, Robert (Debra) Ferguson, Maureen (Glendale) Weidner, Daniel (Valerie) Ferguson, and Cathleen Ferguson; grandchildren, Rebecca, Aaron, Christina, Jennifer, Alexis, Dacoda, Matthew, Faith, Lachlan, and Eilidh; and several great-grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alexander Ferguson; and brothers, Leo and Walter Lazaruk. Those desiring may make contributions to the Huron Woods Nursing Home in Kawkawlin, MI.
