

After leaving school, Roger worked hard, working in a lumber camp and a diamond mine to help support his family. Over the next 31 years of his life, Roger worked at General Motors, which is where he eventually retired from in 1982. In 1952, Roger married his love, Isabell Duby, in Grand Blanc, Michigan. When he had the chance, he enjoyed fishing, camping, fixing up cars, and gardening; but he especially loved doing these activities with his family in America and Canada.
Roger is survived by his siblings: Rollande (Paul) Picard, Silvio (Claudette) Lamoureux, Liette (Gilles) Simon, Laurent (Lise) Lamoureux, Roberte Lamoureux and Richard Lamoureux; sister in laws Suzanne and Lynn Lamoureux; children: Roger (Joette) Lamoureux Jr., Julie Lamoureux, Susan (Glenn) Sears; grandchildren: Kelli (Benjamin) Kerby, Rachel (Aaron) Bastian, William (Paula) Sears; and great-grandchildren: Connor Kerby, Clara Kerby, and Emmaline Kerby.
Roger is preceded in death by his wife, Isabell; parents: Philias and Solange; siblings: Irene, Norbert Lamoureux and Guy Lamoureux; and sister in law, Annette Lamoureux.
A visitation for Roger will be held on Tuesday, May 31st from 3pm-8pm and Wednesday, June 1st from 11am-8pm at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc, Michigan on Thursday, June 2nd at 10am with interment to follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in the memory of Roger.
