2011 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. The Rev. Ann

Norton officiating. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday and

Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Ruth was born May 27, 1926 in Flint, MI. to parents

William and Margery (Kellerman) Rubel. She was a Flint resident all of her life. Ruth

married Donald Link February 14, 1948 in Flint, MI. Ruth retired in 1989 after 23 1/2

years of service, from the Genesee County Clerks Office, as Deputy Clerk. She was a life

member of Grand Blanc Chapter 507, Order of the Eastern Star, life member of EFH-

RFH IVE No. 6 Jesterettes, active member of El Said Court, No. 28 Ladies Oriental

Shrine, served as Guardian Secretary of Bethel 54, Flint and 30 Grand Blanc, Job’s

Daughters International. Surviving are husband of 63 years Donald P. Link; daughters

Jeannie (Ronald Johnson) Link-Johnson of Burton, Deborah A. Link of Burton;

granddaughters Sue Gonzalez of Virginia Beach, VA. and Amy (Paul) Clolinger of

Davison; great-grandchildren Nicholas and Jacob Gonzalez of VA. and Cameron

Clolinger of Davison; sister Carol (Rick) Stanley of Colorado Springs, CO.; in-laws Kay

Rubel of Flint, Clifford (Mary) Link, Dennis (Bobbie) Link, Marie Wilkinson; many

nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and brother Donald K. Rubel. In Lieu

of flowers contributions may be made to Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple Hospital Driver’s

Unit or the Genesys Hospice Care Center. The family wishes to acknowledge the care and

support they received during her illness from the staff of the cardiac intensive care unit

of Genesys Health Park and Genesys Hospice Center and her doctors, Drs. Adams and

Black; Dr. Rao, Drs. Stref f and Ramachandran; Drs. Murphy and Dr Georgeakopoulos .
