Ms. Sandra Lee Holbrook

August 7, 1951July 23, 2013

HOLBROOK, Sandra Lee, age 61, of Flint, passed away peacefully surrounded by all of her family on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. A memorial service will be 1:00PM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Visitation will be Friday 4:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Sandra was born August 7, 1951 in Flint the daughter of Aubrey and Lavina (Rouse) Mathers. She retired from General Motors and lived life to the fullest. In her spare time she loved to sing and was a lead singer for several bands performing at several different venues. Sandra will be missed dearly and remembered always.

Surviving are her two daughters, Kim Navarre-Jones (Matt), Shanette Kidd (John); son , Shawn Navarre (Pilar); mother, Lavina Mathers; brothers, Rick Mathers, (Nancy), Aubrey Mathers Jr. (Julie), Rhonda Adams (Doug); grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Madison, John, Aubrey; nieces and nephew, Brent, Danielle, Angie, and Jenna. She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Mathers Sr., twin brother and sister, Aubrey Dale and Bonita Marie; grandparents, Daniel and Vera Rouse, Aubrey and Ruth Mathers, special friend, Nas Douros; beloved pets, Neeka and Baba; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mom, I miss you soo much! I cannot wait until the day I see you again! I know you are walking streets of gold and have a mansion just for you, but it hurts so much sometimes down here without you!
