Sandra Lou Vickerman

Sandra Youngs Vickerman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born on February 24, 1942 in Flint, Michigan to her parents, Norman and Betty Youngs, who preceded her in death.

Sandra married the love of her life, Charlie Vickerman, and together they created a beautiful family. She was a dedicated mother to her three sons: Jeffrey (Karen), Timothy (Elaine), and Eric (Adrienne). Her pride and joy were her 12 grandchildren: Nathan, Ryan, Erica, Kate, Alec Vickerman; Courtney (Rick) Jones; Jared Vickerman, Brett Rainey; Jensen, Ellerie Vickerman; Adam (Jordan) Schumacher; and Graham (Christina) Schumacher. Each one of them held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with her family, from celebrating milestones to sharing simple every day joys. She also loved her great grandchildren and got such a kick out of each of them. Sandra also leaves behind her brother Richard (late wife Jacqueline) Youngs and neice Krysta Youngs.

Sandra's friendships were equally significant in her life. She shared a special bond with her dear friend, Dawn Mansell. Their friendship was a source of strength and laughter, bringing warmth and joy.

Sandra's presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched. She leaves behind a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. Her life was a blessing, and she will be remembered with love and gratitude.
