Sergio Rodriguez, age 38, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2021 in Detroit, Michigan.
Sergio was born on December 28th 1982, in Chicago, Illinois to Jesus and Maria (Escobedo) Rodriguez. Sergio had an infectious smile and a laughter that would brighten the room. Sergio had dreams of having a food truck and was in the process of planning to make it happen. As we all know he loved food especially his Madre’s. Sergio had a passion for cars and all things Cadillac. His favorite hobbies included taking walks, stopping by random places we saw along our many travels, playing on playgrounds, climbing trees and playing baseball. He enjoyed the company of others and having a good time with friends and family. He made many lasting friends through his journeys.
He was preceded in death by his father Jesus Rodriguez and niece Rosie. He is survived by his mother, Maria Rodriguez; brother, Chuy Rodriguez and his wife Ana Rodriguez; sister, Christina Franco and her husband Edward Franco; his brother Ricardo Rodriguez, and his son Dylan Rodriguez; nieces: Titi, Sophia, Alexandra and nephews, Victor and Eddie. Along with many other family members as well as his girlfriend Michell.
