Shari G. Strauss

Shari enjoyed several different professions, though she was particularly proud of her work with Special Education students as a teacher’s assistant for Grand Blanc Community Schools. Late in her life, Shari devoted much of her time and energy to the local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary to which she belonged through her husband being a part of the Disabled American Veterans. She eventually held the post of Chaplain with her local chapter. Shari will be remembered for her loves: books, family, movies, and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Strauss, daughter, Jennifer, her granddaughter, Octavia, her sister, Pamela, siblings Dick and Linda, as well as numerous other family and friends.

Shari's funeral service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, MI. The family will receive friends from 4PM – 8PM on Monday, February 21, 2022 and from 10AM – 11AM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
